Description: The Canadian Society for Asbestos Victims (CanSAV), a registered non-profit since 2008, is a group of members from impacted families that are committed to providing support, advocacy, information and education towards improving the quality of life for Canadian families impacted by mesothelioma and related issues.

Support services and activities offered include, but are not limited to:

  • No fee, 24 hr., 7 days per week, toll free telephone support, plus online and email support
  • Outreach education programs and public awareness events in affected communities across Canada to provide information and resources on topics such as health and compensation 
  • A referral service for those exploring the potential for compensation related to their disease
  • Facilitates access to home care/hospice services
  • Affiliation with MARF ( for clinical trial availability
