Introduction by Daniel Lambo and Eric Jonckheere, whose family’s story is featured in the film, followed by Q&A

Conference: Mesothelioma: from today’s challenges to tomorrow’s cure

Conference objectives:
• Provide information on early detection and innovative treatment for mesothelioma for general practitioners and specialists
• Identify the most promising research directions
• Engage key researchers and clinicians in Canada and internationally, including the CMF Scientific Advisory Committee
• Promote support in Canada for mesothelioma research, for a mesothelioma patient registry and the CMF Mesothelioma Health Network
• Link these efforts to the broader efforts to develop a comprehensive Canadian response to asbestos and asbestos disease
