2023 CMF Conference on Mesothelioma

On November 16, 2023, the CMF hosted its second successful conference at the MaRS Discovery District at 101 College St. in Toronto, ON. Learn more about the conference objectives and the conference program below.

Attend to learn about early detection, promising research directions, and new treatments for mesothelioma. Together, we can develop a comprehensive Canadian response to asbestos and asbestos disease.

Conference objectives:

  • Provide information on asbestos and mesothelioma to health and safety practitioners, patients, family members, advocates 

  • Provide information on early detection and innovative treatment for mesothelioma for general practitioners and specialists

  • Engage researchers, clinicians, health and safety professionals, and advocates in Canada and internationally

  • Promote asbestos awareness and support for mesothelioma research

  • Link these efforts to the broader efforts to develop a comprehensive Canadian response to asbestos and asbestos disease
